Bam Boo revitalises the Resort’s Asian dining experience with the introduction of wok and teppanyaki options alongside our guests’ longtime sushi favourites. Reimagined by Parisian designer Marc Hertrich, the renovated open kitchen faces a fully refurbished dining room in a subtly modern theme that places the emphasis on the delectable flavours and textures to be discovered on the plate.
Traditional Chinese wok dishes such as Kung Pao chicken and Sichuan style shrimp star on the opening menu while local lagoon fish is revisited in a Chinese white wine marinade to be fried with green beans and pak choy for a lighter meal. Chef Yacine Gorine travelled to Guangdong in China for extensive training in authentic Hong Kong cuisine with Chef Liew Rai, the Executive Chef at Sheraton Zhuhai and the future St. Regis Zhuhai, opening April 1st, 2018.
In charge of the Japanese menu, Sushi Chef Christopher Buenaventura will continue to sublimate the freshest caught fish with delicate flair. Sushi bestsellers include the Spicy Tuna and the Bora Roll, a composition of mahi mahi tempura, tobiko and raw Ahi tuna seasoned with Japanese mayonnaise. Variety is further enhanced with the addition of a Teppanyaki stove, visible from the counter seating, from which guests may order hot dishes including meat options.
More than ever, The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is the destination of choice for the discerning palate where guests may explore differentiated gourmet experiences.
